I hope nobody made any betz about this....

Given a reader's brief questions, I watched the video, then waited for The Committee to explain. They say:

"This object, which is more properly described as a device, was specifically designed and manufactured to be deposited on Earth for humans to find. The objective, which was achieved with great success, was to observe reactions and investigation.

The discovery of electromagnetic or radio waves was human detection of location signals being broadcast with a dual purpose; both locate the object and also to increase human interest and scrutiny.

The object was being operated by alien extraterrestrials as the human possessors then investigators were being observed."

They should have tried depositing it in India and watch the fun. People would call it a miracle and then would have built the biggest temple around it, minting money in billions, Probably a whole city would have come up around the temple by now

I like the India reaction a LOT better. The American reaction would be for government agents to attempt to steal it by deception, then other folks on top of and along with those "government" investigators would make life so unpleasant for the finders, the finders move away and disappear. No miracle. no temple, no city and no FUN.
