Let The Races Begin, you racists....

Now I will tell you the answer to my question. It is this. The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power, pure power. What pure power means you will understand presently. We are different from the oligarchies of the past in that we know what we are doing. All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites. The German Nazis and the Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives. They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just around the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal. We are not like that. We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. To me it seems like some people love to in stupidity I got no problem with people who look different than me. Though I said to my stepfather one time what terrifies me the most for example is like with black people the n word accidentally coming out of my mouth than oh shit what happens next. Being socially awkward and a bit antisocial doesn't help either.

Unless you have Tourettes Syndrome, that's not going to happen.

I tend to think that when slurs or name-calling come easily out of a person's mouth, it's what they really think.

@lorri unless something or someone is acting up or saying something stupid gets me stirred up I never say or even think of bad words. Maybe I'm just allergic to stupid stuff in any form.

Bad words do not exist, reactions are what give words meaning. When I hear the phrase "hate speech" I want to ask folks saying it, "who do you hate?"

@Patrick to give an example of what you said Patrick my mom doesn't like indigenous people because they don't have to pay taxes on purchases etc. I just laugh to myself how she's a dumb ignorant woman that maybe that was something out government did among other things as a way of saying sorry we fucked up in how our government and previous governments treated you. Suffice to say among other things yes I'd like it if she went to spirit and annoy other people.

It's a totally confusing society we live in when black folks frequently refer to themselves as the "blank" word, both as an expletive, and a sign of brotherhood and friendship. Hear it all the time, in person, movies, TV, etc.

But, apparently, now if someone of paler persuasion dares to utter the "blank" word, they could be charged with a hate crime...like I say, total confusion!

If I could, I'd trade my father in a millisecond. So would my siblings. Even a millisecond is too long.

He is age 87 now, yet looking oh so much younger. You'd never guess his age. We are afraid he'll live to 100. Then he'd achieve 100 years of being a total pill of a human.

Meanwhile, the nice parent, our mother, has gone through so many health issues that she has gotten very frail at the same age. It sure looks like she will go first.

The irony is not lost on us.

I saw my father today on his yearly pilgrimage to my corner of the world. I was wrong about his exact age. He just turned 86.

He joked that he told his wife (2nd wife) that if he lives until age 95 she will lose her mind.

Both parents are gone now. It's my sister that gives me the most grief. At the moment we don't communicate unless it's about our disabled brother in Assisted Living. Life is too short. So be it. I'm just ignoring her like the Committee said. That's the best way to deal with her. The last few times I've emailed something "crickets" so I don't anymore.

It's funny my friends seem to be more caring and closer and more like family than she is. I'm thinking my friends and family are part of my "soul family" Erik wrote about and that we've known them forever and will be together again after this incarnation is done.

I was thinking about writing this yesterday but didn't have time and last night I dreamed about us. We were together talking and we were perfectly happy I guess we do get along when we're asleep. :)

Your dream confirms you relate differently on the other side.

I just heard nearly the same story recently. Robert Schwartz wrote some super interesting books about how we plan our lives before birth. He worked with mediums who were able to see those planning sessions. His books show case studies of people lives and hardships and then the mediums go into the planning sessions and you see what they planned and why.

He's done a lot of interviews and if you go to YouTube and type "Robert Schwartz life plans" you will see them.

In his most recent interview, he mentioned that he grew up with an abusive mother. He was either asleep or doing astral travel when he found himself with his mother and she radiated immense love for him. So different than their earthly lives.

Thanks, Scott. I don't know about too intelligent tho. It's actually very simple, just start a conversation with someone and see how it goes. Approach them as a possible friend. Practice makes perfect.

It's easy to interact with no "bullshit" or tension, at least for a few minutes; agree with everything. Un– or fortunately, that effect won't last; folks will figure it out, then conclude you're

• phony
• fake
• untrustworthy
If there is tension or BS in the air, that is the reaction others can choose, but you are not obligated to participate. You can choose another reaction or none.
