@Patrick, will there be a so-called "solar flash" - a coronal mass ejection event damaging the satellites?

Reply
Patrick

The Committee says:

"Yes, but the effects will not be limited to satellite damage. The events will cause extensive electricity supply blackouts and from service disruptions to physical damage, some temporary and some permanent, to Earth surface human electromagnetic communication.

The blackout effects of interrupted or suspended electricity supply will last several days, until power grids can be properly re-energized. Some back-up or stand-by generation will also be affected, but not all of it."

@Patrick is there any possible time frame to when this might occur and will this help bring the so called free energy technology more mainstream so people don't need to rely on conventional energy providers.

Damages have happened in the past even from smaller solar flashes, typically by way of high induced voltages in transmission lines, causing transformer failures and burnouts. In the case of a large enough global solar flash, it could take years to manufacture enough new infrastructure equipment to replace the damaged units.

It will take decades to bring the "New Energy" systems mainstream, so massive are the electrical installations of the world.

During the 19th century, there was one recorded huge solar flash. Fortunately, then there was no electricity or electronics...

@tv if memory serves weren't there telegraph machines and didn't somebody who used them actually die during that solar flash.

TV

@Scott2: The referred huge solar flash took place before telegraphs existed. There have been many smaller solar flashes since, like the one which incapacitated the power network in Quebec Canada many years ago.

I would like to ask more about the compass errors due to the magnetic poles moving.
Many ships, airplanes and satellites use gyro compasses, which are compasses that create their own magnetic north through spinning of inner wheels, for the simplest description. They do not use the earths magnetic field for creating a reliable compass.

Will these also be effected by the shift and arrival of the energy from the center star (I hope that’s the correct term)
Thanks....

I am no expert in gyroscopes, however, I believe their use has no connection with magnetism. Gyros can maintain compass free direction indication. The use of gyros allowed the flying of airplanes over the North pole. The first airline to open the polar routes from Europe to the West coast of USA was Scandinavian Airlines System, SAS, in the 1960's. Gyros are not expected to be affected by the shift, solar flares or the incoming energies. Perhaps someone else has a better answer...

When I asked TEC if the incoming energies originate from the central sun, the answer was no. However, I suspect that TEC considered my question referring to our sun, as it is the central sun of our solar system.

The wave of energy affects the sun, which in turn affects Earth, besides direct effects on Earth also.

Once a few aircraft get confused —not all of them— generalized worry will kick in and that will become the larger issue.

The skyrocketing cost of fuel is going to be the biggest issue air travel faces.

No, not that bad. The risk is going off course over water, but as mentioned above, aircraft with gyrocompasses will do a lot better. The problem will be confusion, even for a plane which remains on course.

I don't think gyrocompasses are as effective for ships, which rely a lot more on magnetic compasses and satellites.

Gyros loose accuracy with time. Ships sail slowly and take a long time between ports.

@Capt. Sam Wilson and @Patrick: Yes, there and have been several reports long time ago about planes vanishing in mid air, even ships, I seem to recall. Some of the planes were of US Air Force. The pilots started getting confused and reported on radio that things don't seem real and that they do not know where they are. Then the planes and all just vanished from the radar and were never found.

The late Edgar Cayce stated that the cause for the disappearance into another dimension was an ancient Atlantean "Crystal" machine at the bottom of the sea, which still worked sporadically at times. Perhaps TC can confirm if that was the cause?

Reply
TV
20/3/2021 14:58:55

Edgar Cayce also stated that at least a part of that Atlantean machine will be found near Bimini, Bahamas, off the Florida coast. There has thus far been found an obvious road, paved with stones, at the bottom of the sea near Bimini.

Patrick
20/3/2021 21:13:53

The "New" Electricity method is what causes the occasional disturbances in the "Bermuda Triangle" The coils from the generation devices discharge through the crystals from time to time, producing the conditions pilots have reported. The flash of light vaporizes the aircraft.

The Committee has reported on this before, on these pages,

TV
20/3/2021 22:53:22

@Patrick,

The reported radio communications would not seem to support the light flash and instant vaporization description. The radio communication became increasingly crackling and the pilots of the several Air Force planes planes became increasingly confused. I have not heard or read of any observed light flashes in the area and do not know where the planes were flying, whether even anywhere near Bimini. But as the Captain said, the Bermuda triangle is very large, approximately Bermuda to Barbados to Bahamas, and he referred to it as a portal, as have some other people as well.

Patrick
21/3/2021 10:56:28

@ TV: Regarding Bermuda Triangle disappearances (I believe I addressed this topic some time ago) the effects come from three of the components, coil, capacitor and crystal.

Because Earth's magnetism is always, the coil will produce a current flow and charge the capacitor. As the capacitor reaches saturation, this affects the coil. When the capacitor discharges, current flows both towards the crystal and back towards the coil, producing a magnetic field & effects humans have never seen, except by the unfortunate pilots flying above and nearby. In most cases, the aircraft is destroyed, by the light flash from the crystals or from the electromagnetic pulse.

No proof of this exists that anybody would accept, and I suggest the Bermuda Triangle mystery idea be set aside. It's waste of mental energy. It is no more than an entertaining, distracting thrill. It's also very dangerous to mess with, like digging up a live bomb.

Dear Patrick,
if indeed these devices are shotting down aiplanes and sinking ships, the areas should be identified and accurately avoided, to preserve the life of the unaware people crossing these dangerous areas.

Just one question for the Committe: if these devices generates an anomalous magnetic field, it should be detected by our instruments in various parts of the globe and from craft/vessels nearby, is it correct?

Will we tapping into the crystal grid technology for our "new electricity" sources resulting from the geological events? I think TC mentioned before that we would moving to alternative technologies not yet developed like with batteries. I just can't remember what other technology developments (aside from air balloon like devices) will occur with the loss of fossil fuels.

Also, would it be possible to get a snapshot of exactly what would tourism or long-distance travel look like in this new landscape? Today I can send a package from the EU to the US and it takes maybe just a few weeks to days (depending on how much I want to pay) for say a 10-20kg parcel to friends and family. I am assuming we won't be sending many long distance packages for some time but would this resume like we have for global trade? Will we be able to still take long-distance trips to visit relatives on different continents? Do we need to wait for the alternative balloon like traveling devices to replace aircraft?

Hydrocarbons (crude oil & natural gas) are not from the fossils of dinosaurs, other animals or even plants.

Long distance travel will eventually drop to a trickle, and tourism will be the way it was 120 years ago but with internet and other modern communication.

These questions are better addressed in subsequent posts, what was intended I assume.

"Hydrocarbons (crude oil & natural gas) are not from the fossils of dinosaurs, other animals or even plants"

Dear Patrick & C,
as far as modern science understands, the Oil & Gas is the residual part of biological deposits that formed during geological times.
These deposits are very precisely located in very specific layers underground, corresponding to ancient times when Earth had what are called "anoxic events". In those times, the oceans became very low in oxigen content, and were covered with huge amounts of algae. These algae slowly formed a tick layer of biological sediment on the ocean floor, which did not decayed just because of the anoxic conditions. These strata were then buried under strata of calcium sediments, and also slowly moved underground because of tectonic drifts. The buried biological sediment (that is, dead vegetal material) was then slowly "cooked" by the underground heat.
The biological mass did trasnform in hydrocarbon (crudel oil) and gas. Of the larg mass of this material, just a tiny amount of it (it is estimated around 2%) remained trapped, when it was blocked by an impermeable layer above. These trapped hydrocarbons are what we know as oilfields. Over the Earth there are many of these deposits, at different states of transformation, From tar sands, to regular oil, to oil shale, to schist rocks.

This is, as far as I know, the current understanding.

I would really appreciate if the Committe would explain a different explanation for oil formation.

Have a nice day

OK, "PG" it's English lesson time! Since your knowledge of the languages is so good, it's time for more. Yours is a "compound" name. (Composed = created, such as in music.) In chemistry a compound (noun) is one chemical made from two or more elements or base compounds. CO₂ is an example.

Compound names used to be more popular in the USA, especially for women, such as (Mary Joseph) or Mary Jo and (Elizabeth Susan) Betty Sue and my daughter-in-law, Anne-Marie. Not so much anymore.

Pietro has also the alternate version of Piero
Pietro was the name of my Grandfather, while Luigi was the name of my Grand-Grandfather.
So my name collects the memory of two generations.

The formation of Earth, the expansion of the planet as it cooled and hardened, hydrocarbons which compose oil and gas seeped into, collected within the spaces opened up in the crust, cracks, fissures and crevices.

Cruse oil and gas are typically located at a depth of 1,500 to 3,000 meters. No explanation is ever offered for how porous rock came to hold crude oil at that depth and what covered it up.

The Committee says a BIG hint is the movement and rise of magma, and formation of volcanoes. A similar process occurs at the depths oil is located and even deeper they say.

TV
22/3/2021 09:57:40

When the Earth was still hot, I would have thought that the oil and gas would have burnt off if they existed at the time.
I did read an account nearly 50 years ago which claimed that the hydrocarbons are from another planet which had a brush with the Earth and the Earth's gravity pulled the hydrocarbons.

Patrick
22/3/2021 10:08:00

@ TV - crude oil comes to the surface at 100 or 200℃ but is not combustible; it's too thick to be volatile and contains too many contaminants. The absence of oxygen below the surface makes this a moot point. Even a lighted match put onto diesel fuel will go out.

Production well fires occur after a blowout, which is an explosion caused by high pressure gas coming to the surface too fast, which ignites the methane, which burns at about 600℃. That IS hot enough to ignite the crude oil once oxygen is present.

TV
22/3/2021 10:13:56

There are places like Azerbaijan where the crude oil is right at the surface. In many places there are continuously burning surface flares. It is even said that is where the existence of oil was originally discovered.

TV
22/3/2021 10:17:22

I have often burnt diesel oil off, starting the fire with a piece of paper.

TV

When Iraq withdrew from Kuwait, they set the Kuwaiti crude oil field wells on fire. It was a big job to extinguish them all by explosives.

TV
22/3/2021 10:59:50

Home heating oil, furnace oil, is essentially the same substance as diesel oil and also burns happily.

TV
22/3/2021 11:27:07

If one wipes a spill of diesel fuel with a rug and then leaves the rug in sunshine, it can readily self-ignite and burn. I have witnessed such a fire at a neighbor. The fire department had to be called.

Patrick
23/3/2021 16:56:20

Diesel fuel will certainly ignite if allowed to mix with air (oxygen) and enough heat is applied, but the liquid at ambient temperature is not sufficiently volatile and is not explosive. Heat applied to a cupful or more will quickly allow the heat propagate into the liquid and maintains its temperature below the flash point.

The small amount in a rag, along with the heat of either direct sunshine or open flame would allow separation of the shorter string hydrocarbons, and it will burn.

Terrorist vandals in South America (Colombia, among other places) would often crack open a crude pipeline with dynamite, allowing the crude to flow out. They would then douse an old tire with lighter fluid (naphtha) and toss a Zippo lighter onto the wet tire. The fluid would ignite slowly (like barbecue coals) but soon ignite the tire, the rubber of which is made from.....(wait for it!)....crude oil!

Then the terrorists would would toss the burning tire onto the spill of crude oil and start a very smelly, dirty fire with thick, black smoke rising high into the sky.

The Colombian Army, specifically soldiers & their rifles, put a stop to this.
