Nope, not crude, or money received from selling derived refined products. Read on.....
==========
A reader asks questions about energy and its healing power, offering two quotes for context, then questions.

1)  ''A Flower Essence is a living energetic medicine made from the biological imprint of the living plant's vibrations in water (....) When a person places a few drops of a flower's essence under the tongue,(...) the flower's vibrations are now within the body/aura's vibrations and the flower's vibrations will harmonize the body/aura vibrations to its own special harmonies, with the help of the flower's signature vibrations.''

2)  ''Plants on the other hand leave a portion of their spiritual essence in the physical. For this reason, when essential oils are collected from plants it is really the spiritual essence that is being used. This is the source of the great healing power of these herbal essences.''

RQ 1:    Do plants really have an energy (also called different names such as lifeforce or spiritual essence) that can be captured in different forms and be used for healing and wellness purposes by humans?
C:        Yes, as do and can all living things and tissue from them. All living things have a lifeforce, in humans it is called a soul.

RQ 2:    If yes, do flower essences and essential oils contain this energy and have ''energetic'' effects on our mind and body, mood and emotional health? Can you explain how that effect works, does it work on a cellular level?
C:        Yes. It works by mixture, when the substances make physical contact. Humans call this chemistry. Mix two substances and sometimes interaction will occur immediately other times heat is required. We suggest the preparation of tea or coffee as examples. Time and temperature will affect the speed with which the process occurs. The energy within atoms, which holds the components of atoms together, and also binds atoms together to form molecules, extends out from them like a magnetic field, which it is.

RQ 3:    Can these essences or bio-energies be matched with specific ailments the same way the famous Dr. Bach flower essences are? (for example: rose opens the heart and heals grief, and vervain acts as a guide in times of transition). And if so, do Dr. Bach essences really work?
C:        Double yes. The keys are belief and extent, to what degree the subject believes the substances will have a positive effect, enhances the perceived and actual effect. Each human will have a different expectation, definition or understanding of what effectiveness means, thus variation of opinion as to whether any such oil will “work”.

RQ 4:    Is this energetic effect the basis for homeopathy, aromatherapy and medicinal herbs, and how to best use it for our health and wellbeing?
C:        Yes.

RQ 5:    Nowadays, with fruits and vegetables often collected before they are ripe and transportation taking weeks, do they still contain that beneficial lifeforce/energy by the time they reach us and do we still benefit from produce when it isn't farm fresh?
C:        Yes. The time delay affects nutrients, not life force energy.

RQ 6:    Does a healthy human body vibrate at a specific frequency, say of xHz, making it possible to match illnesses with different frequency ranges (yHz, zHz) and also to measure and influence our body's frequency for healing purposes when we fall ill?
C:        Yes, a range of vibrations, each human can have a different high & low limit for ideal range. Subtle energy applied to the body will tune itself to the body and both will adjust to the body’s benefit. As an example, we suggest the way a newborn baby's ideal body temperature will be reached as the baby is held against the skin, ideally the upper chest, of an adult. The adult's body temperature will rise and fall to the required level to achieve the ideal temperature for the baby.

RQ 7:    What kind of energy do Reiki healers draw upon when they work on patients, and how much control do they have over it when directing it on the patient's body?
C:        It is the same energy and the control over dispatch, sending, disbursement is complete. The recipient of the energy reacts to it as s/he best needs to, independent of the reiki energy sender, that part of the process falls outside the control of the sender. No user, believer & sender or reiki energy objects to this; to the contrary it is the goal, purpose and objective!

My wife and I attended a Bach remedy seminar many years ago. My wife was a firm believer in the remedies. The one she used more often than any other, was the "Rescue Remedy".

In the above posting:

RQ 5: Nowadays, with fruits and vegetables often collected before they are ripe and transportation taking weeks, do they still contain that beneficial lifeforce/energy by the time they reach us and do we still benefit from produce when it isn't farm fresh?
C: Yes. The time delay affects nutrients, not life force energy.

This answer feels counter intuitive to me. For example, when a person or animal dies, the life force energy, soul, withdraws immediately, whereas the physical "nutrients" decay more slowly in time. Similarly with fruits and vegetables, when they are cut off or removed from the plants or their roots. I have seen some quite short times suggested for consuming many fruits and vegetables in order to receive most of the benefits of their lifeforce energy. I wonder, what gives?

Replies The Committee: "The life force energy is the effect upon YOU who consumes it. You the eater do not receive a reduced effect by eating food picked before ideally ripe, some time before consumption.

The benefit to you, is the intent with which the plant was grown and harvested; to feed a person? That is good."

Great Reader Q & A on energy healing--I've used the Bach flower essences myself and can say from experience they are very effective, yet gentle and safe to use. For instance, I've used Rescue Remedy for anxiety while flying and it's so relaxing, but doesn't knock you out. If it's merely my belief that it works, then so be it, but either way, it's far better than downing some big pharma concoction!

If anyone is interested, I recommend a great book, "Advanced Bach Flower Therapy" written by Gotz Blome, M.D. that has extensive descriptions of the mental/emotional conditions that the various flower essences can be used for.
