Hi Patrick just a few questions. 1. Am I correct in remembering you mentioning in previous posts people won't have to work as much in the coming yrs/decades but still have there needs met. 2. If the nesara/gesara isn't the future than what will be the basis of this new way of living. 3. Will it be better than the aforementioned nesara/gesara and how would it be different. I've read the basic selling points of nesara/gesara and it sounds good but the proverbial devil may just be in the details

Communism sounded very good and often still does. Examine results and you shall see why N/Gesara has withered and nearly died from memory despite its to-date short shelf life. The devilish details are the results."

@Patrick&tc with the first question my definition of work is where you need to earn money for food rent etc. To me it seems like form of slavery whereas it's almost impossible to get ahead for the majority.

@Patrick, I know TC have mentioned in the past that people will be buying goods or services more local. And as you say N/Gesara is like soft control. I also doubt that Universal Basic Income will be an answer from the state as that is also control. If we are to be more libertarian (sounds like Venezuela) this also won’t work. Can we have a deeper dive on this sometime please?

@Cheryl hi Cheryl the problem with ubi is it's just another form of control. Who decides how much you should get and who's to say if you don't behave according to their rules that they won't take it away from you not to mention other people who might try to influence prices for profiteering. I like the concept of libertarianism I think it should be applied to everyday life as I'd love to have more control and freedom. @Patrick I got no problem with working for money but my issue is when it's tied to your ability to have food or a place to live or just being able to do things you enjoy. Working is fine but not when it becomes necessary to be able to live your life.

When 'service to self' is replaced with 'service to others' the world will become a much happier place. Work will be fulfilling and meaningful. Appreciation of craftsmanship and quality will return. We will buy/trade locally from people we know and trust. Honesty and integrity will reign again. A sense of community will return.

We can do this now--source the best local products you can find. Get to know the farmers in your area. Move away from big cities. Join local groups. Give away your excess possessions and lighten your load. Take up an enjoyable hobby. Find a new job if you are miserable and feel trapped. Go out in nature every chance you get.

Even the smallest change in your lifestyle will raise your frequency and bring you more to appreciate.

Okay, this is referring to something I posted about a particularly harmful common belief about Twin Flames.

In the context of my original comment, "emotional unavailability" could apply to a man or woman. It applies to someone who is not emotionally available to someone who wants them to be.

It doesn't mean lack of human feelings - it means not available for a feelings-based relationship.

There is a belief that's circulated for years that "twin flame" couples often consist of a "runner" and "chaser". Supposedly the runner recognizes the profound connection, but is scared of it and therefore runs away.

I said this is a harmful belief because it tells the "chaser" to keep chasing in the belief that everything will eventually work out.

This is a terrible belief to base one's romantic life on. You could be dealing with an emotionally unavailable person - a person who is either unavailable to you or unavailable to everyone due to not wishing to be in a serious relationship.

This could go on for years while the believer in twin flames pines away and wastes years. Generally the use of "emotionally unavailable" means someone who is currently adverse to a serious relationship with anyone - a condition that could be short-lived or last for a lifetime. We all have known someone who doesn't gravitate to serious relationships.

In psychology, there is a term - "Avoidant Attachment Style" - which develops in early childhood when a child has caregivers who don't respond to their distress or emotions.

It usually persists into adulthood and the person struggles with letting their guard down enough to have a relationship.

This is what is usually meant by "emotionally unavailable" - the person has problems with connection. And when they do get into a relationship, they can exhibit toxic behaviors.

The "twin flame" idea can cause someone to mistake a toxic relationship for a twin flame relationship.

Hope this is clearer.

@Lorri: I think your observations are very clear and true, and very common… Just look at the book shelves full of books about relationship phobia and how to find the perfect match and all that. Having read some of them, I have come to the conclusion that both runner and chaser are avoiders to the same degree, that is why this dynamic can carry on for decades, otherwise either of the two would turn around and say, stop, enough of this monkey business. Personally I have experienced both the runner and the chaser energy, and I am now in the „happy as it is“ spot, and who knows what else I decide to experience in the years left of this voyage… Whatever it is, though, I would not want to put any blame on anyone for the experiences I have lived, part of my contract and individual journey, I suppose, and the learnings have been precious and I am grateful for that. I am sure we all are.

Yes, I have also come to the conclusion that a person chasing someone who can't or doesn't want to be with them is also a runner.

They are more comfortable with chasing someone than actually catching them! Otherwise, they'd stop chasing someone who doesn't want to be caught and turn to people who are actually interested in them . . . and that unconsciously scares them to death.

It was The Committee's prediction, not mine. The biggest challenge with knowing the winner is, when watching the game, it becomes increasingly confusing to guess how.

When the destination is unknown, each turn of the car in which you're a passenger can be interesting. When you know where you're going to end up but know nothing about the route, as you go the tougher it gets to understand, until suddenly.... 💥

Funny, with all written above, I was always more attracted to the hard to get types. I always liked "the hunt" so to speak. And the ones that worshiped me were, well I hate to say, made me sick to my stomach. That was in high school.

Now married for years.... that's a whole different chapter....

I never felt that way. Whenever I was uninterested in someone who was interested in me, it was because I truly wasn't attracted.

And I would never try to chase someone who wasn't interested because my pride would never have allowed that. LOL Besides, if someone isn't interested, that is your answer right there.

There is nothing better than two people who are equally attracted. That's the most exhilarating and happy scenario.

I was always more attracted to the ones who were aloof and mysterious.

With my husband, the first time we met (a set up at my aunt and uncles house,) we both felt a strong attraction. I remember in my mind saying "I'm going out with that guy." Six months later we were married. I'm pretty sure we've been together in other lifetimes.
