Well, I do have one person in my life whom I've strongly advised to stop watching political news. And I won't change my advice.

This person has strong Aries placements in their natal chart, and it shows!!! They are incapable of consuming news and not strongly reacting, to the point of shouting over the phone.

Guess who gets to hear the shouting. Me. I have to hold the phone away from my ear.

It does this person no good to consume news and since they are not well, the stress of their reaction hurts them physically too. Not to mention the stress I feel listening to them yelling.

Ha-ha--love it!... " Consider your news source to be a dog shit bistro..."

Patrick and TC, many thanks for another great post, but after reading this, believe me, I'll be giving each tasty nugget of news the sniff test before chowing down! :D

(I don't remember a coin powered television device either, but I do recall the uproar when folks heard they had to pay for cable TV! My, how times have changed with some shelling out well over $100 bucks a month.)

You understood the symbolism! That’s a tube or valve TV, which disappeared from production at least a half century ago. We used to pay for TV 📺 by watching advertising. Now we watch the adverts or “commercials” AND pay cash, also.

AS could be expected. How are you, Susan?

"New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is infected with the coronavirus, says her office. Ardern's symptoms are described as moderate and reportedly isolated in his home for seven days.

In the early stages of the pandemic, the island nation in the Pacific approached the virus with very strict restrictions.

Recently, however, the omicron variant of the virus has been pounding the country."

Here are three headlines from today's news.

"Putin coup is underway and 'impossible to stop' says Ukraine's military intelligence chief"

"Ukraine's president reiterates readiness to talk to Putin"

"Ukraine's military intelligence chief says he is 'optimistic' that Russia will be defeated by the end of the year"

The headlines give me whiplash. 😂

“ At what point along this path does the termination of the process become murder, but is acceptable before that point is reached? Who shall decide this? The USA is about to shift the authority for this decision away from central government to the fifty states and territories. The expectation is that availability will become limited in some places, banned in others and debate has followed.”

My opinion to each of the above:

There isn’t any point at which abortion is not murder. It is the taking / ending of a life (a murder) because life begins at conception. The soul of the baby-to-be already around to the parents because that was the life plans /soul contracts of all involved.

The parents are the only ones who decide and are responsible for the decision.

As far as deferring to states authority instead of the federal government that’s fine and how it should be legally (there isn’t a right to abortion on the constitution) but neither the state nor the federal government should use tax-payers funds to pay for abortion. Let the individuals involved pay privately if they want an abortion. I don’t want my tax dollars to pay for any of it.

I would prefer to live in a state that values life and personal responsibility, than one which doesn’t. There will be other problems evident in a state which doesn’t value human life and choices.

And yes, I have given this issue much thought.

P.S. I’m using a different email address to make this comment than I normally do so maybe I’ll receive notices of new comments. I’m still not able to receive notifications using my other email addresses. No idea why.

Only rich people can use abortive treatment?
I remember really clear a statement by the Committe:
"A birth is an agreement between the mother and the child, but the free will of the mother is paramount"

I would not waste time remembering that abortions have several big reasons to exist, maybe an abuse (rape) or health reasons, but, again, the free will of the mother is what matters.

Let those who can’t afford it start a go fund me or take up local donations or use contraception. Of course the mother’s will is paramount because of the two the baby grows in her. What if the father is willing to assume all responsibility for the child once it is born? Should she abort it when the father wants to keep the baby? Would the mother allow the fetus to be transferred instead of aborted? What should be done in that case?

I think there’s an something inherently good with wanting life rather than destroying life. Adoption is always an option.

If the funding were to change with regard to abortions there wouldn’t be as big an issue and industry in killing them. It’s all about the money and money from parts of aborted fetuses.

I believe in legal termination through the first trimester, and for rape, abuse, incest, and when the life of the woman is at risk.

No one ever convinces anyone of what to believe in this matter, so discussion is almost pointless.

In my considered opinion, the abort question hinges on: 'When does the soul enter the fetus?' Before that point, the abortion can not be considered a murder and should be allowable in all cases by the decision of the mother to be. I have investigated this issue a lot and come to the conclusion that rarely does the soul enter the body prior to the moment of birth. Rarely does that soul entering take place before birth and rarely after birth. Even in adult persons the existing soul can depart if it so desires and another soul can enter the body to replace the previous soul. This has been the case with several great humans, including Jesus the man.

Lorri

Erik talked about this on Channeling Erik.

He said a soul can enter the body at any time during the pregnancy. In one channeling, he said they usually enter just before birth. It's up to the soul.

Back when Jaime was the medium, they did a session on abortion and Erik said to keep in mind that some women can't even stand very long during pregnancy. If they need to work to support themselves, and pregnancy makes supporting themselves impossible . . .

Erik also said . . .

ERIK: "It’s about personal boundaries. It’s about saying, “This is my body; this is what I need for my life. The mother, the mom. It will be the mother’s lesson. Trust me, 99.9% of the time, at that conception, the spirit that is waiting to come in to the mother’s body — if they know that that life is ending in abortion, they’re not going to work so hard to be attached to those cells, to be attached to that baby growing. They will work more with the mother in helping her to let go. There’s no pain or hurt of suffering involved with an abortion for a child. If a child is coming in, and they want to feel that pain and hurt and suffering, normally this is what happens with a miscarriage, because this is the child’s lesson.

My personal boundary was whenever the developing fetus was capable of feeling physical pain.

The decks have been stacked against young women for a very long time. If they were valued and the ability to carry a child was celebrated and supported the conversation about abortion would change . Still , the males involved in unexpected and unwanted pregnancies are not a part of the conversation. WHY???

Once upon a time I was a young female with raging hormones that got drunk and had a 1 time encounter with a guy, never to be seen again. Pregnancy was the result. In that time period and from my social economic class this was a reason to be outcast and condemned. I was able to get an abortion paid for by the state . It was a huge relief. Times have changed and this kind of situation is not looked down on as a disgrace as it once was.. Humanity has evolved as have forms of birth control. With so many couples having a problem with fertility now, we beginning to see the opportunity to give birth as a gift. Perhaps the need for abortion is dying a natural death

Well . . .

Unfortunately, even if everyone only ever had sex when they also had the ability to support a child and had no need of termination, we still have men who commit rape, abuse, and incest.

And as ever we still have times when the life of the mother is endangered. Pregnancy can be life-threatening if certain conditions develope; not only during pregnancy, but during the birth itself or immediately afterward. My mother had an uneventful birth with me, but went into convulsions afterward from eclampsia, which is very dangerous.

So, I don't see the end of the need for terminations, even when it's not something the woman wants.

When sex becomes an act of love the problem will be solved.

Lorri
15/5/2022 15:46:21

@Renie

We don't really love women in general.

Ten states have draconian trigger laws enacted, which means as soon as Roe is overturned, their state laws will go into effect and they will NOT allow abortion even if the woman if raped.

And in those states that plan to outlaw abortion except in cases of rape, most are requiring that the women have a "rape kit" performed at the time of rape. Many women don't even report the rape because they are so traumatized and having a rape exam is traumatizing in itself.

So, a hateful rapist will be able to insure maximum misery for his victim - both the rape and the pregnancy.

I'm a late Boomer. I have once in a while been annoyed by Millennials, however I have the feeling that once the Millennials and younger generations are in control of this country, these heartless extreme laws against women will not stand.

They have pointed out the absurdity that baby formula is in short supply at a time when forced births may become the law of the land.

My niece who had a (planned and wanted) baby in 2020, had a gall bladder attack months after he was born. This can often be a side effect of pregnancy.

She just had to have surgery to take her gall bladder out and needed family to fly in and take care of her toddler while she recovered. And all this was after having gone through a high-risk pregnancy and caesarean.

Imagine someone in her shoes that was forced to give birth, but without health insurance, living with gall bladder attacks afterward. Pregnancy and birth are not necessarily easy breezy experiences.

If everyone could look back at their family tree, they'd see numerous mothers who died in childbirth. It was all too common, and it still sometimes happens with modern medicine. Almost 300,000 women die worldwide from childbirth. 658 women died in 2018 in the U.S., and that number doesn't take into account the near misses. These numbers are at a time of low birth rates.

The numbers are highest among women with less access to medical care and will rise if more women have babies..

Oh boy, I have to stop as I'm really triggered by this subject.

How do they managed to achieve this? There is no electronic vote in france and mail ballot fraction is negligible.

I cannot say for other countries BUT the process was well developed in the USA and used with great success, called "stuffing the ballot box".

Voting machines with a paper roll, closed and locked, were used for many decades. I remember voting on one in the late 1970s.

Hi Pierluigi, they did use electronic vote in some towns (can't remember how many) as an experiment for the future. Love, Lysa from France

It seems that EU blink first concerning oil & gas sanctions, as the Committe said. But I just think that it was a really easy bet even for me.
On another subject, the US Chamber had a open discussion about UAPs. Bottom line: they EXIST, are unexplainable just yet, are a probable threat, are a probable nemy nation weapon.
First statement: true, and the real big deal
Second: a half lie, we just know that they know what they are, but still they do not fully grasp the physical laws that those device are harnessing
Third: a lie, the intent is to control the narrative
Fourth: a loadsh*t of lies crammed together: a enemy nation would have had this tech by the 1940 and just sat on it? Even a rat would not eat it.

Have a nice day

I agree with what Lorri's saying... But if the soul doesn't enter the body till just before birth, why would it matter when the abortion happens? Have compassion for individuals on an individual basis? The mother should make the final decision.
