Reading Patrick's latest post, I thought more updated compilation of prior post was published. Alas, not yet.
Then I discovered another book by Patrick de Hann, titled 'Reasons to vote Republican'. I should add this to my collection of Patrick's books, and await publication of prior post.
Ha ha...I forgot about that! A few years ago, some guy released a book "Reasons To Vote Democrat" and it was blank...every page. If I remember correctly, it sold very well. I thought this was obviously in need of balance and perspective. "Reasons To Vote Republican" isn't blank or about Republicans. It's my love letter to politicians, we all know my fondness for them.
@Patrick unless that reason to vote Democrat book was like a dollar to buy I might not get upset about buying a blank book. Though I will buy your book it'd be money well spent.
Keep your money, Scott. "Reasons To Vote Republican" was just a counter-punch opportunity for me to rag on politicians, inspired by the blank "Vote For Democrats" book.
@Patrick lol silly me it actually didn't cost me anything since I have a trial kindle unlimited subscription. Though I suspect your book was more for satire and laughs I think a book that details the good and bad of either party would be a interesting read.
Well done, Patrick.
It seems your audience must be growing and some are a little sour-grapes about it. Great opportunity to correct the misinformation 👍
Nicely done 😉
I am upset by the Republican bias on this site. I come to hear what the committee has to say. I am appalled by Trump, as are most people I know. I’m out of here. I’ll check back now and then for what the committee has to say.
Republican bias WHERE? When have I ever praised or supported a Republican politician or the Republican Party?
Would you be upset if you perceived a Democrat bias on this site?
And my same questions apply; when have I praised or supported a Democrat politician or the Democrat Party?
Republicrats & Demublicans . . . . we Americans just love 'em, don't we?
I'm wondering why you are so shocked because if you have been following The Committee right along then you would surely know that for years TC has told us of Donald Trump. You would know that Trump's life purpose is to serve as a catalyst in the awakening of humanity by stirring the pot. Whether you like Trump or not, he threatens the existence of long-standing corruption in government.
Ginger, perhaps you are a more recent reader and you are not aware that Patrick has made it perfectly clear that he dislikes all politicians? There is no reason to feel threatened here...
Anyway, Patrick, I enjoyed your sequel to "Reasons to Vote for Democrats."
Appalled “as are most people I know” sounds like you’re living in an echo chamber. Interesting that those who don’t like reading ideas counter to their own fully expect their ideas to actually garner the respect they refuse to grant. Enjoy your hiatus.
I read this site to help me cope with the current and coming changes that all of us are experiencing on this earth. I feel grateful to Patrick and TC for taking the time out to put all things relating to The Shift into context. As a reader of Armstrong Economics, my anxiety comes not from a specific party, but of the World Economic Forum’s attempt at a systematized destruction of the world economy as we know it and using the corona virus as a psychological weapon to implant fear in the masses. Their agenda? Wipe out capitalism and promote their Marxist agenda to create a greener, smarter, and fairer world economy while they obliterate your human rights. President Trump is in the center of it all and that it why it may appear that readers of this site are pro Trump when in reality, we (or maybe it’s just me) are looking at our world situation from a global world and spiritual viewpoint.
I agree, Sandy, 👍
Why would any of us begrudge Patrick his opinion? We all have opinions. We’re human.
Why do people feel justified in shunning him for his? Obviously you have your opinions too. Would you like to be shunned? Shamed?
Of course not. Patrick has been a most gentle and generous guy and wonderful channel and I am grateful for him and his site.
Do unto others ...is pretty simple.
See my opinion below.
Why begrudge me for having one? That's the New American Way.....see something disagreeable politically, get offended, whine then hide,
How to Lose a Guy in 10 days
How to Lose a Lover in 50 ways
Publish, some rubbish in March 2017
Then, March Forward to:
2018 - March Madness
2019 - March Madness
2020 - NO March Madness,
But plenty of Mar, Apr, May, Jun, Jul?,Aug?
Fast Forward to the ever present NOW, y U stir the pot (a lot) with yer .. why yer ... why yer .... X Y yer axis.
LOL x 2
“Rubbish” from 2017? From Patrick?
It was self-described as dumb. Dumb doesn’t mean rubbish according to the online dictionary.
Dumb is right, the nincompoop who slapped together 200 pages of blank pages under the title "Reasons To Vote Democrat" was appealing to a simplistic, superficial & partisan political observer, I thought it fitting at the time to balance His Dumbness with my own version of dumb. Writing off an entire political party in a nation the size of the USA with a well developed 2 party system is D U M B. It begged for an equally D U M B retort.
My political opinion? I DISLIKE & DISTRUST NEARLY ALL POLITICIANS, the party barely matters. Government in the USA is huge, has its nose & fingers in TOO MANY things and this has happened in large part because of many Demublicans & Republicrats participating in self-interest growth and intrusion at the cost of and to the great detriment of the citizenry.
This has never been about Republican or Democrat - it’s about it’s corruption and hypocrisy, on the part of politicians.
Patrick has always been consistent and clear about not liking politicians. Anyone who has read here for a while knows that.
It was nice and refreshing to see the counterbalance so well done. Providing a counterbalance was an opportunity to share a different perspective - which many of us readers/ commenters value and respect. The recent post about free will and free speech was fresh on my mind. I value free speech. I hope we can keep it as we shift.
Looks like the election is going to be very polarized :-)
In the USA, the Demublican Party has done an excellent job portraying the Republicrats as the true enemy. President Obush didn't help much, and it's become more divided during Trumbama's administration.
I recently went down a rabbit hole on the royal family. Can TC tell me if Joseph Gregory Hallett is really the true heir to the throne? If yes I have many more questions! If no I will simply move on. Thank you esteemed Committee.
Dammit! Did I post my question in the wrong place? So sorry. Will try again...
Which "royal" family and who is Joseoh Gregory Hallet?
How much time would a medium psychic channel require, how much money would s/he charge you to ask these questions, would you pay for this information and moreover would you toss this question out without background or explanation?
I hardly see interest in the British royal family as descent into a rabbit hole. To the contrary, news about them overflows like a backed up sewer.
Lol! Point taken! I knew when I asked that question I was taking a big risk with this group! In my defense though I sincerely thought everyone knew about this. Maybe I’ll have the last laugh if it turns out to be true; That The true king of England is Joseph Gregory Hallett. If not, then at least I learned how to properly post questions on your website! And to think twice before asking. Thank you for all you do. Donation coming your way (if I can figure out how to do that)!!!
Hi Leslie S, That feed came into my youtube & I delved into it for a bit. You’re not alone ! The lineage of many illegitimate lines could claim British throne. I find it incredulous bearing Mr Hallett talk about how QEII has bowed to his superior claim for the throne over the decades in codes & hidden meanings in her actions & official documents. The British Royal Family (BRF) is not going to be deposed by Mr Hallett, any claim would need political , mainstream media & the will of the British. That is a rabbit hole .
@papermate that guy is good looking and might have better teeth than the royal family but he sounds rather delusional if he thinks he's the unofficial king of England.
Hi Leslie and Papermate, here’s my opinion
It’s BS - a psy-op to mis-direct your focus. A distraction of nonsense while you reinforce the idea of a monarchy. Without our belief in such things they fall apart.
Love Linda’s post- so true I’m flipping grateful to receive. I think I grew up massively just reading your post Linda! I’ve read many times to remain aware of distractions - until one goes thru that ‘aha’ moment of experience, it doesn’t click but once clicked .... yes I do have an innocent outlook, i rationalise yet now I get it on a level I didn’t before ..... ‘agenda’ ‘divide & conquer’ - my eyes , heart & mind are clearer . Slow learner but now I ‘see’ . I still won’t get hung up on anything not in my ‘needs’ & ‘musts’ & wants’ yet wise enough to keep learning from various sources. This readership is the quirky band of fools for me.
Sounds like someone has come down with a fatal case of T.D.S (Trump Derangement Syndrome) 🤣😂😜
Remember only Black Lives Matter. If you are Asian, Latino, Aboriginal et al. I’m sorry your clean out of luck.
@magicmike lol tds is the only disease I'm aware of where you actually enjoy the symptoms and progression of it. Sad news is we only got 4 more yrs of trump😢. Why can't America just amend the constitution and keep trump forever. 😁
To be fair about it, they should have called it "Black Lives Matter TOO" It would have prevented people from constantly saying the phrase means no other lives matter.
The thing that chaps my ass, is that police shootings of white suspects are nearly NEVER in the news, creating a false narrative that black suspects are in much greater danger.
The emotion this narrative generates is overwhelming sense, and the fallout is being everywhere.
From Quillette, one of my favorite online publications. This is a MUST READ. There are white suspects who've been killed in similar manners as the black suspects who've made the news. The white suspects never made the news though.
We do have a police brutality problem, but it's not as one-sided as it's portrayed.
"TDS" another dumb political label brought to us all by the Demublicrat Republidem political machine, aided and abetted by a compliant, subservient, nitwit press & media. (Ahhhh.....the media.....I love them too, about as much as the press loves its overlords in political office.)
BLM is equally stupid and is a HUGE slap in the face of all Americans. Just think about it for...oh, a half a second? In the year 2020 in the USA somebody really has to say this?
No, nobody has to say it but it's repeated all damned day, every day FOR A REASON, which is to exacerbate wholesale racism against Americans of color.
More white Americans proclaiming love, charm and affection for blacks, coming to the rescue of blacks by demanding everybody see it, hear it and repeat it constantly. The handlers recruit a few knuckleheads who can't see far enough past the power & money to understand they're selling out their morals and integrity, and these recruited individuals are sent out like Joe Biden is at the moment, to spew the canned message.
You who might read this will say "no, BLM originated with blacks" to which I respond, "keep repeating exactly what you have been shown and taught to believe."
'Black Votes Matter' is all these long-time pandering politicians ever cared about. It sickens and saddens me that, once again, these self-proclaimed 'best buds' to the black community are back in action.
You are absolutely correct, Patrick; keeping the notion of systematic racism alive serves as an effective weapon to wield when maximum chaos is needed to control others. According to the latest "Message to the Incarnated 6" this current "show" may have "more insidious, concealed ends"--why does this not surprise me?
@Ginger, Maybe it was you or maybe it wasn't but there was somebody else a week or two ago with your views regarding this site I will say this, it can feel like a trump rally in here from time to time and I've been a multi year visitor to this website. But I'm not here for politics, it's interesting but there's just too much of it floating around these days and I can use a break. I'm here for the other topics. And I bet you're here for the same reasons. So don't go.
Maybe a guy like Trump is needed for these crazy times ... to kick off the shift in style!!! But honestly I'm really tired of him, he's not my cup of tea and never will be. So that's that, nothing more to be said. Hang around @Ginger!!!
Feels like a Trump rally, around here? Uh.....no.
A reader made a positive comment about Trump and that equals a rally?
I get it....some people want to declare everyplace they go a "Trump Free Zone." Would such well wishers ALSO want to declare other places Democrat Free Zones? Would such well-wishers support other people doing it, even if they disagreed?
From MY observation, I've seen many positive Trump comments here and nowhere near the same amount of positive comments for Obama/Biden/Democrats over the past few years. So I simply expressed what I feel, yes it can feel like Trump rally here from TIME TO TIME. Meaning not always ... also meaning sometimes. If it were the opposite I would simply state that it feels like an Obama/Biden rally and etc, etc, etc.
I can't speak for what some people or well wishers should, could or would declare .... or not declare. I personally think the amendment.net is an open zone, free for people to express themselves in a civil manner. Which is what I think I've done and will continue to do.
So I'll say it again, Yes it can feel like a Trump rally in here from time to time ... Uh ... yes.
@ GaryG: I like that you responded, thank you.
• You didn't read praise for Obama, Trump, Democrats, Biden, Republicans or Trump's administration written on my keyboard. Readers doing it? Free speech; counter-commenting is encouraged as you've demonstrated.
• Watch any half hour segment of any Donald Trump rally. This website's comments come NOWHERE near such a political love fest. Characterizing what you've read here as being rally-like in favor of Trump suggests to me, like many people, you might be extremely sensitive to anything NOT critical of Trump.
• If you'd prefer a positive comment about Obama or Biden, make one. If you'd like The Committee's perspective on the Obama Administration, formulate your questions. I personally have a pretty poor view of ANY part, parcel or period of the USA's federal government.
• Love, hate or don't care about them, those preceding 3 views don't matter as far as elected officials of influential nations are our concern. What such leaders do is extremely important at the moment, given recent developments and moreover, what's coming.
I'm having less and less love for politicians in general, both Dems and Republicans, Trump and Obama/Biden ... I just don't trust any of them anymore. So there's no reason to throw out some half hearted praise for Obama ... but If I had to ... maybe something like "Thanks for bring hope with no real change" ... I mean that's really depressing and I'm not sure I'm praising him by saying that but that's how I feel. Nothing has really changed with Obama as Prez. I'll just leave it at that.
While I'm burnt out on politics in general, your last sentence "What such leaders do is extremely important at the moment, given recent developments and moreover, what's coming". This kinda statement has my interest. Maybe a topic you can consider down the road. Specific decisions that our leaders have to make that will impact our future. Do you have specific examples you and TC want to share? This is why I've kept coming back over the years. It's just too much fun here. So don't leave @Ginger, you'll miss out!!!
Maybe it’s time broke Trump broke up MSM to lessen its effect?
If Trump were to do that, he should change his name to Stalin or Hitler at the same time.
Free speech and a free press are NOT about popular ideas. A news analyst zings an elected official, who zings back. THAT is what a free press is about.
Free speech is NOT about saying what popular, it's about the activist, the dissident and the verbal anarchist.
Yes but there are about 9 liberal controlled media outlets to one right wing outlets. I’m thinking more along the lines of levelling the playing field up a bit.
We The People who consume news & information have complete control over where the field should be located, its size, how level or tilted it should be and who gets to play. Politicians are to free speech & press what rust is to guns & machinery.
What I find funny yet sadly hypocritical is how the left leaning perspective dominated the media for decades and still does yet whines like children. The "preferred points-of-view" actively exercise rights to free speech & press, gaining great dominance. Contrarian points-of-view used to be limited to annoying written examples such as National Review (a magazine) and were tolerated because efforts to squash them were believed too drastic and might backfire. Time Magazine & Newsweek, to name just two competitors, were happy to outsell NR and nearly bury it.
The same thing happened with American television from the 1950s until cable TV and worse, the internet slammed into leftist dominance. Along came a new cable news network which has flared in popularity and remained there. The fact that a large majority of American news consumers never tune in to FoxNews, is never mentioned. The playing field has become 9-1 instead of 10-0 and is deemed a national tragedy by left leaning interests, who love free speech & press rights ONLY FOR preferred points-of-view.
Frankly, it's childish.
The leftists have trained a large part of the population to actively attack free speech and a free press, most forward troops are on autopilot and they're as touchy as hell.
You may want to read the latest post, there’s more information therein than you may realize.
There’s lots more in poems and story and in posts and comments here on this site for free and much more inside the treasure trove known as the archives available for purchase.
“Benefit without responsibility is not”. Something the TC said that helped me many times. I hope it helps you as well.
I find it unbelievable anyone still believes we are alone in the universe and are the only 'intelligent' species, and disavows any ET-related story as hoax or disinformation. Adding insult to injury, anyone who fears annihilation by ET, needs to get his head examined.
There are trillions (actually about 1 billion trillion in the observable universe) of star systems in the universe, even if 1 in a million star systems contains life, 1 in a million of those life-containing star systems has developed some intelligent life-form, and 1 in a million planets with intelligent lifeform evolves into higher civilisation, there would still be millions of planets with higher civilisation. How can anyone think we the lone intelligent lifeform in the universe?
As for the threat from ET, any warp-cpable ET is technologically more advanced than us by centuries, and therefore is well capable of destroying Earth with ease. Since we are still alive, that is proof that advanced ET's are not interested in destroying Earth. (Although they might be interested in cloning humanoid mules to dig gold for them. Now that they had removed 90% of gold from Earth, we have nothing left of interest to any advanced ET. We should be quite safe.)
Yes, I am a Trekkie and love all sorts of inter-galactical science fiction. I believe it is not just entertaining, but the story line of many contains lumps of truth. (But not all intelligent lifeforms are English speaking bi-peds, and so a star-ship Enterprise with bi-peds, insectoids, and amphibians serving together would not be possible.)
Believing that we are alone in this Universe is like believing that the Sun goes round the Earth. Its the same mentality which causes the belief
@santanu I don't understand why some people choose to be ignorant about things unless they just don't like the world they live in.
Nobody chooses to be ignorant and stays that way very long. Just considering choices & options brings anybody out of mental poverty & hunger.
People choose what they've learned but also learn to avoid along the way. Humans teach a database mentality; if it ain't on the list, in a book or said by somebody "trusted" it's wrong. Add ingredients, shake & bake; presto! A modern, well educated, smug &skeptical ignoramus who just KNOWS that...you, are, wrong! It is so satisfying a feeling.
@Patrick lol if it wasn't for tc I think you'd make a good comedian Patrick. Oh well don't quit your day job.😏
I’m back. Thanks, GaryG. I haven’t seen a single positive comment about Democrats, and it does feel lopsided. However, if that’s the way the group sees it, so be it. Sorry for the little snit 🙂
