I was beginning to think reading the first paragraph this chapter should be called why the world should be more like Canada or something. That pretty much explains why I'm not that creative 😁
Too many palm trees would perish and good luck getting jet ski users onto snowmobiles.
@Patrick that's ok I've never understood the attraction towards palm trees but oh well my loss. If I wasn't uncomfortable with height I'd be willing to try that water sport where you fly above the water as long as the hose is still sucking up the water.
Our leaders and the hidden interests they serve, will stop planning wars. They will not stop because they wise up or develop empathy, but because the ability will be taken from them.
Prior to finding Patrick and TC, I always thought the end of war would come because humans would change for the better.
We have wised up and developed empathy BUT we're stuck on 99.9999+%. The > or = 0.00001% who initiate organized armed conflict are in charge, but no single nation can choose pacifist leadership which will ALSO convince another nation to do the same. Any one of can personally choose to be a peaceful, but how does that control the potential violent attacker? In the USA 0.00005% of the population is murdered per year; 99.99995% of the folks are not murderers. How close to perfection is possible?
When the formula is cracked which gets us past 99.99995% that SAME formula will also prevent wars. The Committee has given us this formula several times, BUT humans are NOT willing to follow it.
We like wars and we like murder and we teach it to one another. It's just like government spending, it will NEVER reduce its size until the tax collections are taken away. The change in philosophy about organized armed conflict & violence will FIRST require the ability be removed, from everyone.
We are animals but we have mentally insulated ourselves from this reality. Only two species on Earth engage in organized conflicts: ants and humans.
Reading this made me think of that Latin phrase "Si vis pacem, para bellum".
If you want peace, prepare for war.
War won’t end, it’s in our nature to kill each other. Traditional war will end and just move to Cyber Warfare. And with Space Force I wonder how long it will be before we have real Star Wars.
You're certain we're still in the "before" phase?
Well I could neither confirm nor deny that fact 😎
The end of international travel would make for a less rich earthly experience. Anyway none of these predictions need come to pass if we as divine creators choose to manifest another reality. The future is not yet written.
We have manifested another reality, but we're not in that reality in these bodies, places, circumstances and context. This reality is just as "alternate" as another, and is also created by us, collectively, just the same.
What we CAN "manifest" now are different reactions to inevitable events we do not and cannot control.
Chapter 2 reminds me of an old saying "Easy to share the bad times, but difficult to share the good times". May be that's why God decide to plunge the planet into deepest economic depression and climate calamity, so all of us can learn empathy, because survival of humanity will depend on it.
The baby boomers among us will experience the beginning (ie the suffering part) of the Shift, I hope our next generation may also experience the alleviation part later.
I shall mourn for our next generation for their inability to travel afar. (I know, half the Americans don't have passport, and more than half of the world's population never travel beyond their national borders.) All I can say is they don't know what they are missing, how can you explain what is a rainbow to someone who is born blind?
The lack of fossil fuel will prevent many modern warfare activities. But humanity never stop fighting in the past 6,000 years, with or without jets, tanks, submarines, missiles or satellites.
We learn from elementary political science that democracy is the best safeguard of peace, because voters will not stand losing their sons, fathers, brothers and husbands except for self-defense. Didn't realise before that fossil fuel is the real enabler of war.
Countless wars were fought even before oil was known.
I wonder what would make the difference now.
The wars were usually engaged to "conquer" resurces, like arable land, wood, water, mines and also workforce (see: slaves)
Maybe the answer is that the resources today are so severely depleted with respect to the past, that makes no sense to conquer them waging war in a background of severely undercutted ability to escavate ores, plow fields, process the minerals and cut woods.
But, also, I see the tensions between countries that argue for the exploitation of river waters (like in the Nile quarrel between Egypt and Ethiopia, for example...) and I understand that this type of problems will never run out of steam, even in a oil depletion scenaio...
Maybe I will ask my Guides later
Have a nice day

FACT: 40% of Americans don't have $400 in the bank to cover an emergency. I imagine it's even worse in third world countries.
It never occurred to you that non-travelers can't afford to travel internationally because they're prioritizing mere survival? Maybe they would love to travel if only they could, and don't need anyone to "explain the rainbow" to them.
@lorri unless I'm mistaken but there are devices in existence that can help the blind see but I think in most cases it's just not affordable enough for most people. I've only ever traveled outside my province and country once but aside from Ireland and Germany I don't have any inclination to travel and not because of finances either.
50% of US Citizens actually DO have passports? I always thought it was less or a lot less, like one out of eight or nine of us, about like 11-13%.
Boy oh boy was I wrong. Forty two percent !!..... and at the moment almost none are "in transit."
In 2007, the share of Americans with passports was 27%.
Now, the share of Americans with passports is 42%.
The increase has been very recent.
Hi everyone I'm I'm not sure how many of us have heard this virus and lockdown is partly being used as cover to arrest and remove bad people from various positions of power. I saw this list in apparent Democrats and Republicans who have been charged in various crimes. I'm not sure how much of it is valid or if any of these people got there sentences reduced or even withdrawn.
