Hi Patrick ... Fascinating post on one of my favorite topics, the soul. I read years ago that flocks of birds, schools of fish, and other groups of animals have a group soul. This was seemingly "proven" when I saw a video of murmuration, a flock of starlings whose rapid and exquisitely coordinated movements could only have happened if controlled by one soul, whose "body" consists of thousands of birds. Can The Committee confirm this, and perhaps elaborate on group souls? Are animals that are without souls being "driven" by one soul that drives many such animals simultaneously?
My present theory is that all souls are "alike" and only differentiated by their unique body of experiences. And, that there are no "classes" of souls, that each is an equal "fragment" of the Universal Consciousness.
How far off base am I on this topic?
Says The Committee: "You are on base however the idea there is group control of a single master soul is not quite accurate, although it appears this way. There is programmed coordination, also called instinct, utilized by souls of the creatures whose movements seem coordinated or controlled by a single entity.
Allow us a brief explanation; just as humans do not typically know of their soul as a separate and more permanent existence above and independent of their mind & body, so occurs this delineation with simpler, non sleeping animals. There is one significant difference; the simpler animals on Earth do not engage in cognitive functions, but rather react to inputs and impulses for the most part. The coordinated movements of a school of fish are the souls thus fish themselves moving as one, because of the programmed instinct each of them provides and carries.
You are correct about fragments and classes of souls. There are categories of purpose, roles and tasks and we prefer the human English word of pieces and parts, not fragments. You may use the word you prefer, we wish to eliminate the tone of breakage or rupture the word fragment can imply and suggest."
Wow, my questions sparked a whole channeling! What an honor!!! Thanks, Patrick and TC!
I'm almost Buddhist in my reluctance to kill insects, though there are certain kinds I don't want in my house. I'd make an exception for roaches just because they carry disease.
Generally, I will turn over beetles that get stuck on their backs, and I try to take bugs outside instead of killing them when I find them in the house. I am bothered by killing for no reason.
The house I'm renting has had a few stink bugs trying to overwinter inside. They are annoying, but I usually leave them alone. However, a few weeks ago, I thought about all the crops they destroy because they are non-native pests, and I put one outside in the freezing cold. They die in the cold. The next day, I was so mad at myself for doing that. It was sure to eventually die in the house and wouldn't live to mate again. Why did I need to hasten it's death? I asked it's little stink bug soul to forgive me. ;)
That said, if I had a crop they were destroying, I'd do something to eradicate them. I seem like a mass of contradictions, but not really. The killing has to be necessary or I won't do it. It makes me sad.
The questions were interesting; no honor involved. If you're Buddhist about killing an insect, you've never been chewed by a one inch Texas horse fly, stung by a dozen fire ants or chased by a wild boar. The latter two can kill.
The bug won't live forever if you leave it alone. Killing just because, is the problem. If a legitimate survival or protection situation comes up...do just what the animals & insects will.
To Bee or not to Bee? Thanks for finally answering that question for us.
Speaking of the musical preferences of bees, I’m wondering if they are fans of The Bee Gees and their song “Staying alive”?
Are you kidding, that's their anthem! ;)
Was there a time on earth when dolphins could walk on land? Did they evolve from being land mammals into aquatic ones?
"No", says The Committee. "Dolphins are what were created as mermaids, they have evolved. They resemble many whale species and are considered one because the DNA for the creation of mermaids was taken from whale species and mixed with human DNA. This was done by humans in Atlantis.
You will never see a mermaid, they hide from humans. They know they would be pursued and captured, all with earnest, bona fide scientific interest, which we say, in many cases, is ignorant arrogance. Because there exists something unknown, unique and able to be captured for study, humans automatically believe a right exists to do so. Which tree has stopped humans from cutting it apart or down?
Mermaids possess human intelligence, as do dolphins, and have well understood the human oceanic development over the most recent centuries, and accompanying ability for pursuit and capture. There are very few humans in the seas, across vast areas of the Earth's surface. The mermaids know where to live to reduce chances of human encounters to near zero and how to hide completely if that encounter happens.
You will never see one. Discard your interest, if you reading these words have it. Mermaids know interaction with humans means their death."
I knew that dolphins had very high intelligence, but human intelligence? Wow. But if they are a mix of whale and human DNA, then it makes sense.
There is a part of me reading this that's saying, "Are we really talking about mermaids existing?" The other part is thrilled.
Why did humans in Atlantis create mermaids?
About sleep...just wondering...
New wearables, like the Fitbit, can monitor sleep patterns and categorize one's sleep as REM, Light, or Deep.
Can The Committee expand on what happens to the soul during each of these stages? Does the soul slip off for visiting GAGs in just one particular phase?
"Nothing happens to the soul", says The Committee, "it happens to the body. The soul is not there. This device measures the effects on a body when the soul is absent."
What about trees? I’m reluctant to cut down my mesquite tree to lay a drive way down because I don’t want the gilt of killing a soul!
Then let the tree "bee". (I coudn't resist.)
Now you're talking my language!! ;-]
You gotta Bee sharp (B#), to see sharp (C#) & align on a vibrational frequency.
Channeling in another form, I suppose.
I read somewhere that only around 20% of animals have souls (that is only 20% of souls choose to incarnate as an animal) All other animals have a spark of light divine. But that doesn't resonate with me because all cats and dogs have their own distinct personality etc, but interestingly my current Cat (Sookie) has a very similar personality to my previous cat Polly (the Maine Coon) who went missing, never to be seen again. I wonder if we are just doing the same things with Sookie as with Polly, habits etc. All animals are precious precious. I have apparently lived a life as a Horse and love horses......
"Soul" and "spark of light divine" are two names for degrees of the same thing. I believe that "twenty percent" notion refers to cognitive thinkers, but begs the question, 20% of animal species or 20% of all animals by headcount? For a weighted average among cognitive thinking animals, we are a LOT less than one fifth. Consider just birds, fish, mice and snakes.
I've read from Erik's book that there is a place in heaven, veri similar to a portal, where the souls of all the insects that die on Earth use to come back.
Considering that millions of them "die" every day, Erik says that seeing this uninterrupted flow of souls, like a continuous firework, is quite a spectacle.
Currently I don't remember how it really looks like (current incarnation forgetfulness, for sure), maybe I have to go and see it again on the next transition :)
That's right, Pierluigi! I had forgotten, but Erik did say that!
It must look like a very busy train station. (I love and miss train stations. London, New York, Newark, Philadelphia and Washington DC - to name but a few - have beautiful examples.)
I believe The Committee weighed in briefly a couple of months ago in affirming that for some (?) people, time seems to be accelerating. The way it appears to me is that weekly events, such as trash day, seem to happen every two or three days, while daily events like feeding the dog seem to happen every few hours. It's actually somewhat disconcerting.
1. Is this apparent acceleration of time a valid observation?
2. Does the perception of an accelerating time frame affect everyone?
3. The rate of this acceleration seems unsustainable, almost like ever-more-frequent birth pangs that conclude with the birth. Does the acceleration portend some sort of near-term conclusion, some kind of "birth"?
Cooper, I remember reading here a long while ago:
Things speed up then Shift
Hey, Patrick. I asked a question about a film clip of what is supposed to be old footage of an ET named "Skinny Bob".
I was hoping for insight from TC whether this was a real ET.
Oops. To clarify, I asked it on the previous post you did.
If that was CGI then person who made it must be gifted.
I know. It's the first time I saw anything that felt like I was seeing something real.
I remember the question but drew a blank at the time. I typed "Skinny Bob" in the YouTube search field. It runs for about 1 minute; I trust this is the video to which you refer.
The Committee says this video is not authentic; it is a hoax. They say, it is a human wearing makeshift skull carefully designed & made up to appear as something else.
In detail, The Committee says: "The jaw, nose, mouth and shape of the lower face resembles an Earth human, as do the expressions and movements. This is not accurate, for an alien extraterrestrial, what you are and would be to and upon the planet of many civilizations, will not mimic your movements any more than you can theirs.
The size of the skull does not match the thickness or length of the neck, nor the upper body, which is a human. For a skull bone structure to be this size, it requires a certain skull thickness to provide the proper protection for the brain, and this means weight. The relatively higher gravity of Earth compared to some planets where advanced technological civilizations exist, makes the ability to manage a skull of such size, mass thus Earth weight - as seen in this video - nearly impossible.
There are larger skulls compared to humans in many, but not all civilizations, however there is also a proportion of the body, either in height or girth, which matches the relative masses, which is common on Earth among all bipeds, as you know.
The difference in gravities will affect the physical movements of the body, and this is one of the several reasons the appearance of a visitor is challenged, as it will be for a human taken to visit another planet."
I was kind of hoping it was real, because it looked different, yet familiar. It was like a human face that was heavily modified.
There is more footage of a group of them walking too. They either used midgets or children going by the size of the shoulders.
Thanks, Patrick and TC!
