What a beautiful contribution and reminder from The Committee...it makes my daily toil so much more meaningful. Thank you, Committee and Patrick.
Beautiful commentry by the committee especially when I was feeling low.
Thanks for that beautiful post. +++
This was indeed a most wonderful summation by The Committee. I feel honored and very grateful.
IWhy stay as a human when the other option of returning home seems much better ???
Paraphrasing The Committee:
Because you came to be a human voluntarily, willingly, gladly and happily. You came eager, excited & thrilled, and you still are.
As soon as your life is discarded, you will realize what you threw away and regret it.
You choose to stay and you choose to leave when you're finished. The "other option" will wait for you forever and as soon as you're finished, you'll return. How do you know you're NOT finished?
You're still here.
Thanks for the explanation.
So as Erik new it was time to check out as a human . I presume I will know when it is time for me !!
@Kyle: No, likely you might not know. It will arrive as you've scheduled without prior notice in many cases.
I dare say i also came here thrilled excited and eager, but 57 years exposed to the bullshit ,corperate greed and manipulation , and crap that rules humanity sure erased that ! ! 😁
Except there's no such thing as corporate greed. Competition (or lack of, caused by gov't rules) and consumer clout, both cause and curtail it. Customers can bring down any company in no time, if we choose.
I know it goes too often without being said but thanks Patrick and tc I always enjoy visiting this site live long and prosper Patrick lol
@Steve, I can understand what you mean, but only from just a human view...being here and posting on this site has shown you the broader view which should allay some of the human angst which you mention. Might it not be worth seeing beyond all the negativity you mention and work to limit its influence upon you...it might allow you to once again gain the thrill, excitement and eagerness you chose for this brief foray into the maelstrom of physical life. I too am at the 57 year point, as is Patrick...I seek at least another 57.
I’m 57 years old too btw.
That makes 4 of us, so far. Who else?!? 😎
Noooooo, just turned FIVE 00000000000000! but act like a five year old ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
I'll be 57 in December and I'm going through the same phase as when I was 14! Back then I was looking forward to stop going to school and start working so that I can do what I want with the money earned - now I can't wait to stop working to start doing what I really want to do!! :)
I'll be 54 in a few weeks.
Seems to me, that many of us readers here could band together and enjoy a group discount at an Early Bird special pretty soon.
But I'm not going to wait for that moment to reciprcate the expression of gratitude that TC just offered us.
So, right back at cha, TC.
It seems that "Living with an Attitude of Gratitude", is the thing to do, whether you are "dead" or alive.
Much Love offered back to you!!!
A young 58 still playing cricket ,we had a great win yesterday, first in ages.
59! I'm like the older sister around here.
Reminds me of a story from my deceased grandfather. When he was going to school, boys wore short pants and at a certain age, they switched to long pants.
The first day he showed up at school in long pants, his teacher said, "Well, John, I see you've grown in stature if not in wisdom."
My first reply was lacking in explanation, the following may help you better understand.
Planning takes place as you sleep each night. You call this free will, although it does incur a cost, thus benefit. (the 97% of you)
What is presented thus learned is up to the learner teacher, for s/he is one and the same together. (authority)
The Amendment - Human development 2017 Nov 09
Quantum physics tells us that the observer (the 97%) affects the observed (the 3%)
I mention this to help you accept the next two sentences.
The next time you take a nap ask the field of potentiality (the 97% ) to give you insight into this health issue.
You only have to believe 100% for it to happen and act upon the insight, no need to understand or analyze the message (keep your ego (3%) quiet).
I feel that I already have insight into the health issues to an extent.
But there is one health issue in particular that needs testing to make sure it's not going to turn into something serious.
I will be 67 in a couple of weeks and feeling better than ever in terms of health and clarity. Best wishes and love to all.
58. Graduated high school in '77, class from heaven.
I'm 53 !! It's funny we're all about the same age... Is it by chance or is there a deeper meaning behind this ? Are we attracted to this site, thus to this knowledge, because we are at an age where we can take all this information in / relate to it thanks to our experiences, forms of wisdom, maturity...?? Any youngsters round???
The past couple of days I've been corresponding with a lady who contacted me who has been able to see non-physical souls(most likely earth bound souls) She told me that some of them have told her they are 1000 years old. What does this mean? Can the Committee talk about the souls who choose not to return home and prefer to roam around.
It means those souls, or spirits if you will, have been counting squares on our human calendar and they're up to about twelve thousand months or so, or three hundred and sixty five thousand days & nights.
"Prefer to roam around" pretty much explains it. I'd say, better we interview one BUT please give me the questions. I am certain somebody will have a few (or many) but won't ask until after the session is posted, so better if asked all together at the beginning.
Well, the question would be.. Why is this man (who she says looks and feels like George Michael on her couch)?? This lady who is from Sweden sees this man on her couch and she sees him and feels him like George Michael. (she even sent me a pic of her couch) to see if I could see him.
She tells me this man has been on her couch for 11 months now. He is not bothing her, but he seems depressed and sad and he smells of cigarettes.
Can you interview this man?? or can the Committee find out why this man is doing this and to this lady? Here is this ladies instagram page if you get a vibe on her...
This was wonderful! Much more information than I had about life reviews, and it shows me where I should be spending more time each day - how do I feel about events? And I am totally onboard with @Otherscott. Having made it through the rough patches in life, I am looking forward to living to 100 (or more), and sharing the knowledge and excitement that life brings with others. The more I unlearn, the more I realize how much there is to learn!
That would make for an interesting interview Pat, ide like to kmow, if they are offered help from Angels, and guides to move on, and why ? They hang around earthbound ? Are they scared to move on ?
So at 35 I'm the young pup around here lol
At 35 I was afraid youth had escaped. At 57 I've discovered I'm a little boy still.
Lol I hear ya Patrick my mom is the opposite of both of us oh well take care Patrick
I still don't understand why souls choose to want to incarnate as humans for example on this earth. I know everything we do on earth as an experience is to teach yourself to become a better, more developed human. But as I understand it souls are perfect. It just seems like, you are a perpetual student studying endless courses for knowledge and experience. As humans it's hard to get your head around the fact of not having a means to an end.
@mike...what is your reason for viewing this forum? Having read and hopefully understood the Committee's comments, why do you not understand, or even believe what has been discussed here for several years now? It is not necessarily a lesson to teach, nor is it a means to an end...it is simply a being and an experience...a cherished one from our greater perspective. I guaranty you that your soul sought this opportunity, planned it all and savors every aspect of it.
@Mike Yes, basically it's all about experiences that our souls want to experience and it might be something that you didn't quite learn or finish in a prior life or it's something you wanted to experience and you can only do it in the physical as in BEING physical compared to being non-physical. Also YOU chose what you wanted to experience before you incarnated. Do you understand that?
Yes I do understand why your soul incarnates to this world to have experiences it otherwise couldn’t have without a physical body. But it’s like learning to drive a car and then never driving one afterwards. You take lessons you gain experience and knowledge of driving on the roads. But then you never buy the car after you pass your test. You then go on to learn how to drive a bus and so on.
Souls incarnate as humans to gain experience and perspective not available otherwise. Why attend a rugby, football or tennis match in person when television cameras can show what no spectator can see?
No broadcast comes to close to replicating the experience, as anyone who's ever been to a game well knows.
The only way to learn the richness of Earth life is to come and play.
So once you have gained all this knowledge and experience, what does the soul do with it?
Says The Committee: "The gain of knowledge and experience is a purpose unto itself. It is not a tool, or information to be applied in pusuit of another objective, goal or achievement. To have and own experience IS the goal."
Would The Committee give us an example of a conversation that might take place between our soul and our guides on the other side when we go back Home while we're sleeping?
You are your soul. What conversation would you have now? THAT is the best example there is.
I should have been more specific. I meant an example of HOW a conversation would go. I keep imaging something like this.
MY SOUL: Well, when I'm awake on earth, I want XYZ to happen, but it's not in my life plan.
GUIDES: No, it's not in your life plan. Do you want to change your plan?
MY SOUL: Nope!
Rinse and repeat, night after night after night. ;)
That wasn't a typo; imaging is what happens.
Here's a very interesting discussion of simulation theory by Tom Campbell
A striking fact of my current incarnation, is how many good books I'm stumbling upon, which are a delight to read.
Just finished reading "A new Earth" by Eckhart Tolle, a nd found it so beautiful and inspiring...
Do the committe have some other book to suggest?
In the meantime, I'm just begun to stop and listen to my breath, every now and then.
Have a nice day
Says The Committee: "We suggest the book which finds you. Go to a place where they are, and the one you will enjoy will be given to you. It will most likely seem otherwise, but do not be mistaken. It is being presented to you."
A perfect committee answer. Frustrating, pedantic and enlightening in equal measure!
What is frustrating? Pedantic?
Actually - TC's answer resonates perfectly and is enlightening for me.
I have oftentimes randomly perused the shelves of libraries and book stores, looking at titles and seeing what might interest me. I'll grab multiple books at a time this way, read a little bit and see what captures the attention to decide what to continue reading.
Years ago, during one of these sojourns (late 80's early 90's), I passed a book on a shelf with the title "Seth Speaks".
I still remember a distinct voice in my head (always assumed it was mine) that said, ... "That's an arrogant title, Who the F is Seth and what does he have to say".
Sat down in the library and started to read and was quickly having one "WTF"!! moment after another. I didn't immediately, discount the information and here I am 27+ years later typing these words (while continuing to explore broader worlds).
Thanks again to all our "dead" friends for helping to light the way (or the occasional fire under our A#$).
@Tim...I too have bought books which somehow "jumped out at me", and which have changed my life. One from the discount book bin which drew my attention enough to buy, then it sat on my shelf for a number of years. One day I picked it up and read about a situation which occurred over 100 years ago with which I was shocked to find myself fully aware, and even filling in details from "memory". I had found the published report of my own death and my surviving loved ones! An incredible affirmation, and a natural segue into ever greater enlightenment and understanding of my life purpose.
The perfect doormat for The Committee.
i’m Stunned by the beauty of this.Thank you Patrick & The Committee. I feel better, so much better in understanding & grace. I’m 49 years, 50 next year. :)
I understand you tc when you tell us to live I just hope that I learn something from the previous 20 years
I am 65. When I was a kid I remember being so excited to be here and I still am. Thanks TC
Wow, having only 47, I'm just a youngster here ;)
@pierluigi lol if your the youngster at 47 than being 35 would I be the baby lol though I wouldn't suggest trying to pick this baby up or rock him to sleep lmao
Maybe not a baby, but what about a MA(scott)E ? ;D
Have a nice day
Dear readers, Patrick and Committee,
here for you a really interesting NDE experience that neatly fits in this post.
I find particularly interesting the evaluations of the various incarnations as "all perfect" and the consideration that our current stay into the Earth is not really attending a school to learn something, because all is known, but simply an experience.
I'm also puzzled and intrigued by the description of fourth and fifth dimensions, as experienced by the teller
And, as it usually happens, following the hint of this name
Georges Ivanovič Gurdjieff
I've found a rich bundle of interesting connections that I was unaware of :D
Have a nice day
First, I LOVE this! Especially after the bizarre interview about Human Development Levels (downer!). My question: why do beings want to come to "Earth?" What is unique about the Earth experience compared to the rest of the worlds? Why do we keep coming back? Some say it is a "coveted" journey compared to others - why? Obviously all worlds are an experience that is beneficial, but are we "special" for any reason? A human always wants to be "special," haha! Does it have something to do with the free will and (perceived) separation from Source/Higher Self we have here (and how is it different from other worlds in general)?
Your comment summarizes The Amendment writings since 2012. Such questions and many, many more which derive from them are what the e-book archives address.
What's unique is that Earth is unique, and an unusual combination of environments. Each is found in many places around the galaxy (and galaxies!) but Earth's combination is not common.
What we've chosen to do is also quite unique, over the 100,000 or so years humans have been present.
How "special" we are is a VERY relative term. How we compare to many places can be made as special or similar as the analysis chooses.
