I'll take that as a Compliment; but, I like my poems better...
Basically..yes, when there is a huge loss in one's life, disappointments etc etc... It's all part of the plan for one to expand, to gain wisdom, to learn to love more, to know oneself etc etc. It may be quite difficult but it all has it's purpose for growth for the soul and collective etc etc....
Of course there are always many people who seem to live to 100 with no loss or dissappointment and have had an easy time or good life
It feels like this one was written for me.
We were forced out of a business in the most traumatic way possible. It led to untold stress.
Yet, the truth is, I had wanted out for a long time. I would have preferred a different route out, and I would never want to relive it, but it certainly accomplished my escape!
I'd like to dedicate this song to The Committee.
Yes. I'm a Smart A**.
But, then ,they knew that!
LMAO! Oh! I crack myself up!
Hearing that song put me back into my parents' pale yellow 1966 Mercury Comet station wagon (I remember the day [early evening actually] as if it were a month ago, when the 5 of us took a taxi to & brought the car home from D'Amico Lincoln Mercury)
Thank you Robert I never heard of this song or her before also love the set behind her sad to think these days you wouldn't be allowed to be close to a singer because people seem to be more stupid and dangerous anyway thanks again Robert
The only ever Real Batman had departed rip Burt..😢
You're Welcome, Scott! It was an inside joke to The Committee because Patrick interviewed Cass for me and I like the way she spoke. Very easy to understand for my simple mind! Ha Ha! Anyway, Cass mentioned she had an unrequited Love for fellow band member Denny Doherty.
If you liked "Dream a Little Dream of Me", I think you'll
LOVE this one! (*Patrick, as I am typing this someone, Erik? Deceased Family Member? Just exclaimed,
" Go get 'em Bobby! " <3 ) The Masterful harmonies give me goosebumps! Enjoy! ...
And, as per usual, I will indeed, " Go Get 'Em!" :D
@robert I like old music more than some newer stuff but im willing to give anything a try
