Human understanding: A fast radio burst (FRB) is a transient radio pulse between a fraction of to a several thousandths of second in duration, caused by one or several high-energy astrophysical processes not understood - yet.
For an Earth's surface perspective, the average duration of a bolt of lightning is 30 microseconds (millionths of a second) so FRBs last a lot longer, suggesting they are not sparks. The glowing hot air around a bolt of lightning reaches tens of thousands of degrees; the flash from super heated surrounding air lasts a half to one second sometimes. Humans can't see or hear things which last only micro- or milliseconds.
A basic human description: Fast radio bursts are bright, unresolved (pointsource-like), broadband (spanning a large range of radio frequencies) millisecond duration flashes found in parts of the sky outside the Milky Way. Unlike many radio sources, the signal from a burst is detected in a short period of time with enough strength to stand out from the background noise. The burst usually appears as a single spike of energy without any change in strength, lasts for several milliseconds and come from all over the sky. They are not concentrated on the plane of the Milky Way. Known FRB locations are limited by sections of the sky observatories can image.
Many have radio frequencies detected around 1400 MHz; a few have been at lower frequencies in the range of 400–800 MHz. The component frequencies within each burst are delayed depending on wavelength, called a dispersion measure, which results in a received signal which sweeps rapidly down in frequency, as longer wavelengths are increasingly delayed.
Q: Esteemed Committee, are FRBs new or just newly detected because of human technology?
C: Technology; they have always reached Earth.
Q: What are they?
C: Two things, essentially. Alien ET vessels arriving in the vicinity or Earth, dropping from a higher dimension in which the interstellar movement, trip & travel occurs and communication signals.
Q: ET ships arrive in a flash of lightning?
C: A very slow flash, yes.
Q: OK, let's do the communication aspect first. You have often said here, x-rays and gamma rays are used by alien ETs to communicate just as we humans know how to use radio signals, but the x-rays and gamma rays are better, they're more efficient. Are the x- and gamma rays faster?
C: No, they are used for efficiency and clarity. They can be generated and tuned as can radio signals, but at frequencies which do not occur normally in the universe humans inhabit. The background noise lightning causes on amplitude modulation radio transmissions is an example; the x- and gamma rays can be used above such interference.
Q: So, if alien ETs prefer to use x- and gamma rays for communication, why FRBs? Radio signals are most definitely NOT gamma or x-rays. Otherwise the dentist would be using a radio to look at the insides of my teeth!
C: The FRBs which occur as the result of communications are extraneous side effects. Just as electromagnetic radiation is present when gamma and x-rays are detected, so occur electromagnetic (EM) signals when x- and gamma rays are generated. Just as electricity will create a magnetic field, bad food will cause indigestion, and so forth. A residual effect.
Q: If we detect FRBs coming from a specific point or source location, what does that represent?
C: The visitors' home planet or vessel while underway.
Q: Why do astrophysicist or astronomers say they come from areas not covered by the Milky Way, which is a big doughnut? Vanilla or chocolate?
C: Every flavor doughnut; the galaxy is extremely diverse and varied. The assumption is the signal originates from far beyond the galaxy, which is true in some cases but not others.
These are residual effects; often an alien ET vessel will follow an arc across the galaxy which takes it far above the plane of galaxial rotation.
Q: What about travel, not communication? What about that causes FRBs?
C: As we have said many a time, interstellar travel is magnetic and gravity based, it takes advantage of these forces. As the ship crosses dimensions, to slow itself prior to arrival, the interface will cause a burst of energy to create an FRB. The reducing velocity is what causes the diminishing frequency during approach. Humans have called this the Doppler effect, which operates in all dimensions where physical existence and movement occur.
Q: Often an FRB is an alien ET ship arriving?
C: Yes, the longer ones. The shorter bursts are communication.
Q: The constant intensity seems to suggest these cannot be randomly generated form geophysical events, such as stars.
C: That is correct; such events do produce massive EM and other energy emissions but of haphazard duration, frequency and intensity, what humans would call radio noise.
Q: Do any FRBs originate from and beyond other galaxies?
C: Of course, Earth is not visited and observed only by ships originating in the Milky Way.
Q: Are any of these from-other-galaxy travelers hostile?
C: Generally no, and never after they meet your cousins, especially the Sirians.
Q: Why? Do Sirians visit other parts of our galaxy or other galaxies?
C: Of course. Do anthropologists on Earth examine one region of one country on one continent only? Hostile intent, much less such behavior, in the vicinity of your star cluster encounters immediate attention from the Sirians. Such instigators quickly discover the futility. This information has already been well spread, is well understood. The best way to have good friends is to be one.
Q: Because of Sirian technology?
C: And knowledge, plus their willingness to use both, if forced.
